The other uniden phones that I have are and do. It is much like the other Uniden phones that I have had for 4 years. Great phone overall. Secondarily, the belt clip could clip a touch tighter and have a longer tab. I bought this one for the shop because it occasionally gets left in the garden. My main complaint is that the ringer is not loud enough to hear when I have machinery going and it doesn't have a headphone jack. It has fallen off a time or two. It seems to be made to last.
The first day I got the phone I intentionally dropped it to the bottom of our pool (4 1/2 feet). If it wasn't waterproof, I wanted to know immediately.It worked perfectly before and after being underwater. When swimming, I clip the phone to something on the side of the pool.I tried to compare this with other waterproof phones and found no others.
If I'm working under a car it gets put in the dirt next to me. I work in dust, dirt and paint all day long with this phone attached to my belt. I love this phone. So after all this it's the best sounding phone I've had that didn't have a wire attached. sometimes I accidently sit on it. It's been dropped more times than I can remeber. All the phones I've owned in the last ten years never lasted more then a year. this one is a year old and still works like new.
I have this phone for few weeks now to replace a 5.8Ghz Panasonic phone. This is great for recalling the recent numbers for redial. I like the buttons as well.
Any way, this Uniden WXI2077 DECT 6.0 is great. A little heavier than my other phones but the quality is good. I had a lot of trouble with the 5.8Ghz Panasonics phone which is unusual because other Panasonics phones I have from 900MHz to 2.4GHz, not much problem.
This phone gives you the feel of durable, and reliable. Very easy to use, not much learning curve. Very clear sound both direction.
This phone saves the last 5 number you dailed. For $50, I recommended this phone and it is good buy.
This phone has sure stood up to the test so far. (And it's been through a lot in this household especially with our 4 and 6 year old. This is one durable phone. (We've owned it about a year). We didn't test the water resistance yet however. Our purpose for buying the phone was more for the fact that it looked durable, as my children seem to drop phones all the time. I wish we bought it soon instead of trying out cheaper phones. This one is definitely worth every penny.
